Milk can be ordered from the school office at the end of each term for the next term, and must be paid for in advance. Changes have been introduced to the School Milk Scheme, in that milk is now provided free of charge to those Nursery Children who want it. It is also free to Reception children who are 4 years of age for the whole of that school term, and for children who are receiving Free School Meals at the beginning of that school term. Milk must always be ordered for those children who are receiving it free of charge. If your child does not like milk, water is always available in the classroom. Please do not send in alternative drinks for mid-morning break. If your child does not drink milk for medical reasons, and this is supported by a letter from your doctor, then an alternative drink may be brought in to school.

Under European community regulation we have to tell you that milk is being provided at reduced prices as a result of E. C. subsidy and that milk is good for your child.

Holidays

If you do have to take your child out of school during term time, we ask that you complete a holiday form available from the school office, requesting the time off.
