Icknield Infant & Nursery School is a friendly and welcoming community school for children aged 3 to 7. It is situated on extensive grounds which are well used to enhance children’s learning.

We are lead agency for Icknield Children’s Centre which is housed in a separate building on our school site.

We have 9 classrooms and an attached nursery full of up to date resources all used to make learning fun.

Our grounds provide many different environments for our children, including a willow tunnel and dome and a wildlife area where children can explore and participate in discovery learning. Additionally, there are two playground areas with climbing equipment, imaginative play areas, story circles and seating.

The school building is very well maintained and has been extensively refurbished and extended to include a computer suite/library, additional classrooms and office area. All classrooms have access to an outside learning space and all reception classes have covered areas.

Our school is very well staffed with a professional, dedicated and friendly team who are committed to supporting the next stage of every child’s learning.
